El Agora belongs to the Ibero-American and Caribbean Forum of Best Practices. The Best Practices and Local Leadership Programme (BLP) is a global network of training and leadership development organisations dedicated to improving people’s living conditions. It does so by identifying, analysing and disseminating lessons learned from actions that have made a lasting contribution to the quality of life and sustainability of our cities and communities. In the Ibero-American & Caribbean Forum on Best Practices, the BLP is working with a network of 5 sub-regional institutions dedicated to the identification and exchange of lessons learned from Best Practices. El Agora is the sub-regional focal point for Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay. more information: www.bestpractices.org |

- Recognition and Interchange of Best Practices in Citizen Participation. This year we have launched in association with the Avina Foundation a national award of Best Practices in Citizen Participation to encourage articulation, cooperation, association and transfer between social organizations.This initiative aims to examine and recognise the capital of practices in citizen participation throughout the length and breadth of the country in order to generate a space for reflecting and learning from these as well as to facilitate interchange between organizations interested in recreating them. more info (Available in Spanish only) |
