and social segregation promote violence, we are working on the positive
resolution of conflicts as a strategy for strenghting citizen participation
in the public domain.
It is likely that this kind of method represents the initial step
for the acceptance of the proposal that “citizenship is public
issue”. In this way, the practice and decision of every pertinent
urban a actor is required.
Regarding the idea of enjoying the city to approach the urban problems,
the conceptualization process mentioned above could be easily accomplished
in the case that people share working issues having a nice time
towards new human interactives spaces.
On the other hand, we are actually applying a set of activities
that belongs to our long-term project to revive the city as a public
space. Cultural tools that combine debate and dialogue such as literature,
visual arts, cinema and theater are the activities that expand communication
beyond the literal use of the message.
