The advance of new technologies in communication has developed and consolidated an audiovisual language, and its aesthetic and cognitive codes have been taking over and dominating social life. Visualization has turned out to be a highly effective tool for transmitting development processes, for making attractive the motivations, experiences and lessons learned, and thus facilitating the process of transferring theories, methodologies, processes and results from one physical space to another.
Making shorts is an audiovisual tool for artistic quality communication, intended to communicate the concept of Best Practices to the wider public (to a public informed by means of audiovisual media, to those without access to readings on the Practices, those who read less, a young public). The production will stress the impact of the practice, the possibilities for transfer, the solution to one particular problem. It will also show leadership and community empowerment, social inclusion, innovation, the scale, levels of association with the state, without the state, with firms, universities, communities, etc.
The visual as well as the sound image is the living presence of what is happening and happened, the direct and perceptible way of meeting other lands, other people, other ideas. It is a road leading us to look at what everyday structures have taught us to evade: “the daily achievement is to look away”.
It becomes necessary to stimulate knowledge of the others, otherwise we are living among strangers. One of the ways to intervene in this issue is to make familiar what is strange and to make strange what is familiar. This too is the strength of this initiative, to motivate the recognition of those who share our country, our region, and so be able to relate and benefit each other more.
