	The Agora is a non-profit civil association. It is a space for action and reflection which seeks for the recovery of the principles of human security as a concept that integrates and articulates the different fields for a better quality of life.









	El Agora aims at the strengthening of citizenship and the democratisation of knowledge and participation. For more than a decade its thematic axes have been: citizen security, youth project, legal extensionism, right to health, good practices, democratisation of knowledge, international health, urban development and governance. Its ways of working: citizen dialogues, strategic-participatory planning, translations in the broadest sense of the word and expression in multiple languages, networks, adult education, documenting good practices in different media, among others.

	Dubai International Award for Best Practices enabled us to discover new practices and to improve links with Civil Society bodies. UN-HABITAT.

	Bulding networks

		We promote building networks for agreements based on the acceptance of the human diversity. These networks help to conceptualize the problem of the social actors as well as to find different alternatives to resolve their problems.
